» karo52 - depression

I am a 52 year old female. I really can't say when my depression started but when I started thru menopause I started seeing changes.I was on celexa for depression for about 1 1/2 years. Now I am on effexor. My hormones levels have been below 0. My GYN has changed my hormones several times. Seems to help for a little while then back to the same. I want to sleep all the time,I am overwhelmed if I have more than 2 or 3 things I need to do,I've gain weight.

Hi, Karo. While doing research on my newsletter, I've recently run across a few studies relating to menopause, hormones, and depression. A few of my newsletter readers have also brought this up. I will be loooking deeper into this for a future article.
