» biogardener - great summary

John, this is probably the most valuable article you have ever written to help people overcome depression. For me the way out was maybe easier than for most, because I have always loved physical exercise and have a hard time sitting still. The more sedentary people require discipline to keep up regular exercise, or maybe a partner who will exercise with them and encourage them.

The most important step is probably for them to find out which exercise is most to their liking, and I am glad you stressed that point.

» jerrib - I relate to the concrete shoes, John

It was difficult for me to get started, but it really makes my day now when I walk - I try to do it daily.

Thanks for the "lift" and the links. Helpful.

Jerri

» mcman - Thanks, Jerri and Traute

After running today and doing my headstand, I've come to the conclusion I can move faster standing on my head than I can running.
