Looking for some support...
My partner, I believe being bipolar, did whatever he could to stay manic...usually excess sugar overload...he told me when he did get depressed, that's why he used drugs usually cocaine. He had many of the symptoms and was a lot of the time irratic in thoughts, emotions, and actions. Things changed constantly.
I am trying to figure out what happened because he told me he was going for a visit out of state. He left and never came back and never discussed it with me. This is a cycle with him in all of his relationships...he makes very, very rash decisions (life changing decisions) without really thinking anything through. Is this something that is associated with bipolar symptoms, does this kind of behavior sound familiar to anyone??
This has devistated me and my life and I would like to help him...he takes no medication and sees no doctors. I don't even know if I will ever see him again.
Just trying to figure this all out.
Thanks.

Oh yes, this is exactly how one suffering bipolar acts, see my story posted july31 "does he love me". Life changing decisions, disapearing without a trace, when he comes back and with my experience he always did....he said what was necessary for my forgiveness, I don't think he really understood the pain I suffered from his decision and actions, I don't know if he really felt empathy either. The cylce continues. I do know that many people have left his life, or become vengful towards him. It seems for the same reasons.

Hope this sheds some light, I don't know if you can help him, I was not successful despite my efforts. My bipolar love also self medicated with street drugs sporatically....your not alone, try to heal.
