» Barbara Bell - It sounds stunning! I'm impressed that you bought the fabrics at various times, and knew just what you were going to do with each one! (I have some fabric that would have been perfect for your room: ivory and sage green stripe, and a cabbage-rose pattern. I bought them and then changed my mind about making curtains. I have no idea what I'll use this expensive mistake for now!)When I did my bedroom several years ago, I knew I wanted to use blue toile fabric. The only available toile was terribly expensive, so I settled for blue and white florals. In recent years, toile has become a fashion favorite and many more inexpensive versions are available. Gradually I've replaced the original florals with newer toiles for curtains, pillows, etc. Finally, the fashion caught up with me! -- posted by Barbara Bell » Roostergrl - Re: It sounds stunning! In response to message posted by bici:Hi Barbara, so glad you stopped by. Your fabrics sounds like they would have blend with my room perfectly. You know, my bedroom was blue and white before I changed it to roses. I too had wanted to use toile but couldn't handle the cost. Now I have the blue and white toile fabric in my livingroom. I found the Waverly brand toile sheers at BigLots for only 12.99 a panel. I recently found quite a few fabrics on ebay at very reasonable prices. I will try and post a decent picture of them later. -- posted by Roostergrl » Roostergrl - Re: Sounds like a In response to message posted by jerrib:Yeah, it's a satisfying feeling when you look back and see it has all come together! How's everything going for you? Any new projects pending? -- posted by Roostergrl
