» SuperSami - I have to defend Sami here...

Sami didn't come back to Salem a vindictive teen. She had plenty of things happen to her that shaped her life in Salem. She witnessed her mother having and adulterous affair with the man she had always thought was her father. She had no one to talk too and felt unloved by her family. Everyone was on her about how to act and what to think, yet no one knew what she was going through. Sami didn't try to take Austin away from Carrie until later. At the beginning she tried to help them. Things changed after Sami was raped by Alan Harris. Carrie convinced her to press charges and then ended up humiliating Sami. Sami decided to go after Austin. After all of that, she still went to her sister's rescue when Alan kidnapped Carrie. There was a lot more but space is limited.

My point is, we saw why Sami was the way that Sami was. We may not have liked it, but we could see how she turned out the way she did. We don't understand Brady's anger at Marlena as we only saw a positive relationship. As far as we can see, there was no reason for the anger.

I don't think Brady is vindictive. He obviously loves his sister and is trying to build a relationship with his father. He has issues with Marlena and it is still unclear how he will deal with them.

Sami has improved. Just the other day it was Sami comforting her mother when Marlena was leaving the party on the verge of tears. Sami has grown up and Brady will too.
