I was surfing through the Urban Homesteading article on eating daylilies and followed an embedded link to your site. Yeah, I'm one of those Philistines who eat daylilies. My mom's a rabid gardener, and learned to keep me in sight long ago, especially if I'm anywhere near her daylilies.

Anyway, thought I'd say hi. My wife writes the Suite 101 Yard and Garden Planning column (http://www.suite101.com/welcome.cfm/yard... if anyone's curious) and Chelsea Green has just released my book on suburban wild edibles, which includes a section on daylilies. My homepage (URL below) includes further information, again if anyone's curious. So at least we're all in more or less the same neighbourhood, eh? Competing interests aside... ;-)
