I THINK CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED TO SERTAIN KINDS OF DANSES.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I took dance as a young child, (I'm now 15) and I feel that it taught me very valuable lessons, including discipline, commitment and teamwork. It also opened up the world of the creative arts to me. I now do Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Speech and Drama and I play the flute. Performing is a part of my life, and I feel that I, and others I know, are better for it.

» BALLE_RINA - Hello Karen,

I am really enjoying your articles on "Dance" I also think, teaching "Dance" to Children is important! It, teaches them discipline, coordination, balance, self control. Not,only in there own body movements, but in there mind.. For inner Peace. I use to dance. But, now I am A Mother of 4. I could never get my kids to dance though. Why? I don't know... Thank's!!! and keep up! The great!!! work!

In response to message posted by BALLE_RINA:

Hi Rena!
Thank you so much for the feedback. I wish you could get your kids interested in dance. You are so right about the benefits. Hopefully you will find the time to go back to dance again someday.

Thanks again,
Karen
