Daffodils: From Pot

» vikktoria - New to daffodil world and need advice

I have 8 potted daffodils that did wonderfully this spring. THe flowers have just dried and the leaves are beginning to yellow/brown. Can I transplant them into the ground now or should I wait until the fall? How deep into the ground should the potted daffs go? Pot is 8"deep.
