Daffodils Not Bloomi

I'm really hoping that you can help me. I bought a house four years ago with an unkept yard. There were daffodils growing sparatically throughout the yard. BEFORE they bloomed I dug up 3 garbage bags full and split them between my mother and I. They are yet to bloom for either of us. The often get yellow leaves and healthly green.
