I saw this film years ago and forgot the title.Can anyone help me?.I think it goes like this.There is a disaster at a power station where only one man lives in the entire world the man searches aimlessly for help and even considers himself as the president dressing up in womens clothing and dictating to a group of cardboard cutouts he had made earlier.The man eventually finds a redhaired woman with a burley coloured fellow he falls in love with the redhead but when he finds out the two are going behind his back he decides to try and commit suicide as he drives a truck into another power station(maybe the same one) it seems the film starts again with him alone in the world once more a few minutes later the film ends .Strangecontact me if you know the title and maybe the star and its not The omega man withCharltonnHestonn Thanks.onstonquin@yahoo.com

I saw this movie in the 60's on tv but I think it was a 50's or even a late 40's film. The main charactor yearns for just one great idea to change his life. He has a dream about ball bearings spillling out onto the floor and people are "skating" on them. He invents a shoe with ball bearings as rollers. (I am not making this up!) In an early demonstration of the shoe an investor falls and sues the creator. The investor goes on to steal the idea and make a fortune. Later in the movie the main charator's son drowns while on a family picnic. I remember the film for the angst of the main charater and would like revisit the film as an adult. I am desperate for the name of this movie - but my memory of it is very sketchy. I think it was about homosexuals living in some South american country where they were persecuted and one managed to get to New York right at the end. I'm sorry - but that is all I remember. There was a fantastic song right at the end and I will only find the song if I remember the movie. The film may have been in spanish with subtitles-- posted by jonold

There are 2 brothers at the beginning of the movie, they aren't yet in their teens and they are going through some trees to meet their parents. Somehow they get separated. I think maybe the older boy might have got knocked out. But when he goes to where he was suposed to meet his parents they aren't there. He then goes to his house and finds an old couple living there that he doesnt even know. He ends up being taken to the doctors and they locate his family. His family ends up being 7 or 8 years older while he is still the same age. Somehow he had gotten put in the furture. He ends up being taken somewhere else and there he meets a spaceship. Somehow the spaceship is respnsible for putting him in the future and (I think there is some type of alien thing on board the spaceship) they have to get him back to the present time. I don't remember much more. I do know that at the end the older brother is alot nicer to his younger brother and he broght a little alien pet back with him that he had kept in his pocket. It's an older movie. All I remember is that there was a little girl playing up in her room while her parents were at a Halloween party downstairs. She was openning a trunk of some sort and there was a little ghost girl who was singing Frere Jaque. The little girl had fallen down a well and died while trying to hang on to a bag of jewels and she needed somebody to go down the well and get them out...I know it's far fetched, but if anyone can help!!!
