» gruppy - Remicade

Hi,
Personally, I wasn't impressed with Remicade for my abscesses. I got better results with the usual prednisone, flagyl and cipro (though nothing seems to be 100% effective except surgical repair.) However, I have seen on other message boards that other people have been treated with Remicade, not just for abscesses, and have been pleased with the results. I would suggest, in addition to waiting for replies here, that you also visit other sites since time is a factor in this decision. It is great to see a doctor who is so open minded about your options. I have seen so many posts where people don't feel like their docs try to understand.
Congrats on your attitude. This is probably the most important tool of all in fighting any illness.
By the way, where is everybody?? This board has been so quiet! Hope this is an indication that you are all doing well, or tolerably in any case.
