» HomeAtLastOR - what does this mean?

It has been some 20 years since I last did this and after a strong start I got stumped by this:

Rnd 6: Attach CA in any ch-2 sp; ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) all in the same sp, dc in each dc to next ch-2 sp,

I attached the color and worked the stitches in the first parens all in the same space. I don't get what it means to dc in each dc. Do I turn it? How can I work backwards through the three dc's?

Sorry for the lame question. I have wracked my brain and hands trying to work this.
Thanks for reading this.

In response to message posted by HomeAtLastOR:

Never mind! I started in the wrong place. When I started in the correct place it makes perfect sense to dc in the dc across the row to the next ch-2 space.

» marimack - Pleasehelp with old pattern

Hi, Can someone please walk me through the 1st round after the motif? Where it says to work around motifs as follows:
For some reason I just can't understand how to do it. Thank you.

Second Motif:
1st rnd: Ch 3, 23 dc in ring,
Sl st to top of ch-3.

2nd rnd: Ch 4, *dc in next dc, ch 1,
Repeat from * around.
Join last ch-1 to 3rd st of ch-4.

3rd rnd: *Sc in next sp, ch 5.
Repeat from * until 6 loops are made,
sc in next sp (7 loops),
ch 2, sl st in a loop of First Motif,
ch 2, sc in next-sp on Second Motif,
ch 2, sl st in next loop on First Motif,
ch 2 sc in next sp on Second Motif,
and complete as for First Motif (no more joinings).

Make 3 more motifs same as this,
joining 2 loops of each motif to 2 loops of previous motif,
having 10 loops free on each side of joining.

Now work all around motifs as follows:

1st rnd: Attach thread in 5th loop following joining on end motif,
ch 4, tr in same loop,
ch 5, skip 1 loop, (2 tr in next loop, ch 5) 10 times;
skip next loop, 2 tr in next loop,
ch 5, skip next loop, d tr in next loop,
*d tr in 3rd free loop on next motif,
ch 5,skip next loop, (2 tr in next loop, ch 5) twice;
skip 1 loop, d tr in next loop,
Repeat from * around, working over other end motif as
before and joining last ch-5 to 4th ch of ch-4.
