I, too, read this novel and found it to be excellent! Atwood is very skilled at moving from one point of view to another, always giving you a different side of the story.

If you liked this, you'd also love Alias Grace, which is based on the true story of a young woman accused of murdering her master and his lover, the head female servant. Did she really commit the murder? Or is she really crazy? Even the psychologist on the case can't figure it out...

I confess after I finished The Blind Assassin, I went out and snapped up another half-dozen of Atwood's books, including Alias Grace.

She's an amazing writer - why did it take me so long to find her!?
