» catten - Juveniles & the Death Penalty

Hi,
I thought I'd get the ball rolling here with some questions.

Assuming one supports the death penalty for adults, how old should a person be to be considered an adult?

What crimes would lead you to sentence a person under 18 to death?

What cases come to mind in support of (or against) this idea?

I would begin by saying that I'm against the death penalty. Like any law, it's simply a question of line drawing. I believe it is pointless to attempt to draw a line between child and adult for purposes of killing. As a criminal defense lawyer in Florida, I unfortunately have to deal with these kinds of issues.
