FYI - all P.D. James fans:
I wasn't on my toes so I almost missed the new P.D.James production "Death in Holy Orders" from the BBC. The first installment, last evening, was, if anything, better than the other productions of P.D. James novels...and though I'd read the book, I was on the edge of my seat for 90 minutes. I still have to become accustomed to the switch between Roy Marsden and Martine Shaw!
Death in Holy Orders, starring Martin Shaw (instead of Roy Marsden)as Scotland Yard detective Commander Adam Dalgliesh, wraps up the new season of MYSTERY! on Sundays,
October 3 and 10, 9 to 10:30 pm on PBS.

American viewers can access their own local PBS stations here to look for times and dates of rebroadcast. Possibly viewers in the south of Canada can also access this series.

I'm sure you'll be glad to know that just as I was leaving the UK to come home, the BBC was about to show an adaptation of PD James's "The Murder Room".
