» nursehealer - Bulk Food Storage

I appreciate the excellent article on Buying in Bulk. It is also important to store your food items properly when you get them home so that they retain their freshness and nutritional value for the maximum shelflife of the food. Some examples of storage containers may be food grade buckets in sizes from 1 gallon to 7.5 gallons, sealed mylar bags, #10 cans, and canning jars. Don't trust your precious longterm food storage to zip-lock bags and plastic containers of lesser grades. For more food storage info, see http://www.nursehealer.com/Storage.htm
