» Red - A LESSON IN FAMILY HISTORY Rachel,What an interesting article on your family's history. Many of my own realatives are buried in a small cemetery not far from here. It is not in town, but under a group of tall pine trees on a quiet country road. I visit there occassionally to read the markers and each time, though I've read them all many times before, I learn something new about my ancestors. Thank you so much for submitting this article to my Childhood Memories Event. You will find it, along with the one about your Grandmother's quilt under the category "Family History." You've done a fine job. Thanks again for your participation in the event. If you would like to put the Childhood Memories banner on your pages, it can be found in the Editor Discussion Area. If you have any problems, please write to me and I can forward it to you. It was nice to meet you. If you get a chance, I would be delighted to have you visit my topic. I always look forward to getting to know other editors. -- posted by Red » Tina_Coruth - This is so true. This is so true. So often we don't know our family history. It's true in my case. How I wish I had asked more questions of the older generation. This is a thought provoking article.Thank you. Tina -- posted by Tina_Coruth
