Hi Elise! She *is* fabulous! Have you seen her on tv? I don't watch tv much but as coincidence goes, I wrote her review the day before I saw her on tv. She appeared in an ad for some computer product or chain and in it she talks about how she started in computing as a kid and stayed with it...she looks and sounds just like you might imagine based on her morph picture (before she morphs) -- same kind of unpretentious attitude with that special flair of intelligence. Her site has a scadzillion awards, and her personal links are pretty entertaining, too. Maybe she would like to be a profile in one of your articles! Betcha can't tell I'm a big fan -- and I've never met her apart from looking at her sites. Amazing!

Barbara of eco,
I think I HAVE to do the frog lady for my next profile.

Menawhile I have become a gardener. Still need a carpenter to help me out, but now my back "porch" -- just old wooden steps going up to a platform with a reailing so upi can get in the back door -- has a lovely window box strapped on with coat hangers as well as store-bought brackets, with bougainvillia, and several small purple flowers -- tiny ground cover and tall Penstemon which the hummingbirds like so much I could stand a foot away and watch 2 of them dining. Also a hanging pot of Ivy Geranium called "butterfly", and a hangins pot of some pinkish purplish impatiens (back in the shade).

Thanks to all the gardening writers on 101, I AM A GARDENER!!!!

Barbara of eco, you inspired me!

Hi ecwrite! So you're hooked, hunh? Glad you enjoy it--some of us are sort of addicted! BTW, lantana and mandevilla might make nice additions to the ensemble....Barbara
