Barbara, these articles are full of such helpful information. I can't wait until "Follow your Heart"

I also had a look at the new photos of the garden today - it is looking great

Mulch - We are having record lack of rain weeks in Tasmania. I hate to think how our gardens would be looking now, if we hadn't mulched. All things go on the compost heap [not a purist one, by any means] We mix with blood and bone, and later pine chips [ these make the soil acid, that suits us] and, touch wood, the subsoil is keeping damp.
