» fibrofree - FMS-Bad teeth

My teeth are what caused my FMS/CFS.I was ill for 11 years with FMS/CFS,thats what the Mayo called it when i went there in 1997.In april of this year i changed dentist and he could not believe what he seen on my first xray.A root canal i had was full of bacteria plus there was more bacteria under two filling. He fix my teeth and 3 months later my fibro was gone.
The posion these bacteria were dumping into me has been compared to musterd gas.The bacteria its self can travel in your blood and eat up your heat valves.
Type in (dental bacteria death) on google search and see for your self what these bacteria can do to you. Most dentist do not know what these bacteria are doing to people and doctors due not have a clue whats going on because they are not trained to take care of teeth.
If you can feel any pain in your teeth or gums it is bacteria causeing it.In some cases like mine you will not have any pain because these bacteria have learned how to live in your mouth and make you hurt everywhere except where its liveing.

Your very welcome Tamara. There is much more to this than anyone will ever believe. While i was in the dentist chair and he was pulling my root canaled bacteria infected tooth he kept telling me that in 90 days all my health problems would be gone and i would feel like Jesus when he was reborn,he was so right.
There are over 400 different kinds of bacteria researchers have found in peoples teeth and gums.To top it off there are over 100 or so different strains of each one.
One doctor found a new bacteria in a persons gums that had never been seen before.
A few things i have noticed talking to people with fibro is that most of us do not catch colds when everyone around us has one. Most have ringing in there ears includeing me.Most have heart burn.I think the posion the bacteria puts off is so deadly it kills the cold virus before it can give us a cold.I think the posion has eaten the hairs off our ear drums and that is the reason for the ringing.I could be wrong but i do not think so.
If we have a cut on our body anywhere we doctor it up so it dose not get infected. The bacteria that can infect the cut on your body is the same bacteria that dentist and doctors are letting run rampent in our teeth and gums.We cant see them and in some cases cant feel them so we have to depend on someone else to make sure our teeth and gums are in good shape.Sorry for the long post but everyone who has FMS/CFS/IBS/GWS needs to at least know it is possible to be as sick as you are because of what is going on in you mouths.......Terry

Hi Tery, I haven't had a chance to look into this yet, but it sure is intriguing.

So far I've managed to escape all the sickness going around this winter. I hardly ever get colds either. Yup, ringing in the ears. I'll be seeing my ENT again next week and will ask him about that. I find that my heartburn does usually get better when my diet improves though.

I would have to agree, just off the top of my head, that it is possible for this to be causing the problems of at least some of us.

Thanks again Terry..

Hugs,
Tamara smile

Hey Tamara,

Ya know, I could smack myself silly! I had read an article not too long ago about bad teeth and medical problems in which can be associated with Fibro.

The article, to my memory said that the Mercury in our filings after time eventually deteriorate and end up going into our system therefore we become led poisoned!

I also remember the article providing symptoms that were similiar to those of Fibro.

The solution was that we could easily take a test to see if we are (Mercury - led poisoned) and if we have the insurance or money to replace our Old Mercury Filings with the New White Filings that my kids now get.

I am 38 years old and I could honestly say that although my teeth are not bad, I do have the old Mercury filings and some have deteriorated and are gone!

I need New filings myself, but again I don't have dental insurance! Fun.

What the article was saying was that our medical problems/ symptoms can be from out teeth and not necessarily chronic, but as we know that there is more to it than what meets the eye, like a simple Tender Point test that confirms fibro, but it does explain some things for those who may have never been diagnosed with anything, but have those similiar symptoms.

SOme of the symptoms were headaches, stomach pains, joint and muscle pain, fatigue and so on.

Who knows? I did think that the article was interesting and I am just so darn mad at myself for not saving it and mentioning here!

Hi Tery, I've also read articles about the connection between mercury, old fillings, and fibro-like symptoms. It does make sense that these could be causing problems in those who are susceptible to it doesn't it?

I've also read a little, but need to research more about the connection between dental bacteria and fibro-like symptoms. I think the key here though is the "fibro-like" symptoms. I'm not convinced that it is fibro, but rather that it has similar symptoms. Like everything else I guess.

I was also reading an article today about the role of inflammation in many diseases. I forgot to bring the magazine home though so will see if I can find that article again. So much to read - so little time. LOL

It's all very interesting is it not?

I did meet one guy that had mercury posioning and did have fibro symptoms and did get well after getting it out.
The bacteria that caused my fibro symptoms is all new info so you wont find much to read about as far as that it can cause fibro..I may be the first person on earth you had fibro and got cured and knows why. When i first went to see my new dentist he could have told me that i needed alot of dental work and not explained to me what was going on.I would have let him fix my teeth and 90 days later i would have gotton well and never known why.I have heard of people getting over fibro over the years and i really think they wound up at a dentist office and got all the bacteria problems fixed without them or the dentist knowning it was going to cure them.90 days later they got to feeling good but never knew why.
I know you have heard of germ warfare but did you know the germs they use to make the posion is bacteria.
Back when i went to the MAYO in 1997 and they told me i had fibro and it was in my head i guess they were right,it was in my head,my teeth..........Terry

» Jackie34 - mercury and fibromyalgia

new here. I just found this board. I have been having problems that none of my doctors have been able to diagnose. Symptoms are very much like fibromyalgia (at one point I barely had enough strength and energy to get out of bed for a month). I also at the same time began having serious problems with my teeth and have several mercury fillings. I always had good teeth, other than the occassional filling needed during childhood. Then all of a sudden my teeth started breaking(I am 30 yrs old, have always been healthy with an active lifestyle). I have found several articles about fillings and fibromyalgia and am including the links to a few of them below:
