» Bob_Ewing - Strawberries

Now I'm happy I bought strawberries this morning. They are frozen but still tasty. Thanks

Oh, I love smoothies, especially berry smoothies, and I will definitely try this one! And I always add wheat germ or even sometimes oatmeal.

You must be on the same wavelength, Elizabeth.

Adding tofu sounds like a good idea.

The pie is delicious. I make my own piecrust and this is different than what I usually make, but good. Hope you enjoy it.

Oh, Tina. I'm sorry you are allergic to strawberries. What a bummer. Do you have a favorite fruit? Perhaps I will feature a recipe or two based on what you can eat.

Hi Bob. Thanks for visiting. I love to cook and to eat and it is always a pleasure to try new recipes. I usually adapt them to my own taste. If you are thinking of a smoothie, don't be afraid to add your favorite things to the recipe.

Thank you, Jerri - you are so thoughtful! My favorite fruit is the blueberry. Although, I haven't been left out here at Cooking with Grandma. Your lemon bar recipe is right at the top of my list of favorite desserts!!

Blueberries are yummy, Tina, especially if they are wild. Don't forget my recipe for Berry Cobbler: http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/cook... . I think you will enjoy it.

I'll keep it in mind to do some more blueberry recipes later on when they are in season.
