Oh, I love smoothies, especially berry smoothies, and I will definitely try this one! And I always add wheat germ or even sometimes oatmeal. -- posted by Joy Butler » jerrib - Re: smoothies and breakfast In response to smoothies and breakfast posted by eacarter00:You must be on the same wavelength, Elizabeth. Adding tofu sounds like a good idea. The pie is delicious. I make my own piecrust and this is different than what I usually make, but good. Hope you enjoy it. -- posted by jerrib » jerrib - Re: Strawberry Shortcake memory In response to Strawberry Shortcake memory posted by Tina_Coruth:Oh, Tina. I'm sorry you are allergic to strawberries. What a bummer. Do you have a favorite fruit? Perhaps I will feature a recipe or two based on what you can eat. -- posted by jerrib » jerrib - Re: Strawberries In response to Strawberries posted by Bob_Ewing:Hi Bob. Thanks for visiting. I love to cook and to eat and it is always a pleasure to try new recipes. I usually adapt them to my own taste. If you are thinking of a smoothie, don't be afraid to add your favorite things to the recipe. -- posted by jerrib » jerrib - Re: Re: Strawberries In response to Re: Strawberries posted by JButler:I never thought of adding oatmeal, Joy. My favorite fruit is the blueberry. Although, I haven't been left out here at Cooking with Grandma. Your lemon bar recipe is right at the top of my list of favorite desserts!! -- posted by Tina_Coruth » jerrib - Re: Re: Re: Strawberry Shortcake memory In response to Re: Re: Strawberry Shortcake memory posted by Tina_Coruth:Blueberries are yummy, Tina, especially if they are wild. Don't forget my recipe for Berry Cobbler: http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/cook... . I think you will enjoy it. I'll keep it in mind to do some more blueberry recipes later on when they are in season. -- posted by jerrib » Tina_Coruth - Re: Re: Re: Re: Strawberry Shortcake memory In response to Re: Re: Re: Strawberry Shortcake memory posted by jerrib:Thank you for the reminder about the Berry Cobbler, Jerri.
