- Has anyone ever tried this?
I was wondering if anyone had ever tried growing garlic in containers. If so, what kind of container, what soil did you use and any special requirements during the growing season?

I have read in National Gardening that garlic should be grown in tall containers with good drainage, and that it "likes" lots of water, but not stagnant water. I have not tested this theory.
