» Bob_Ewing - Balcony containers

Greetings, great article. I have a baclony garden. One that keeps changing from year to year as I experiment.

Two staples are always there, a glad and a sunflower.
Other plants, peas, basil, cherry tomatoes, calendula, morning glory and nasturiums provide food, companions and beauty.

The best part is that the balcony has a great view of Lake Superior and the door is off the kitchen.

Hi Bob,

Glad you liked the article. Don't you just love growing veggies on the balcony? I'm always amazed that all that yield comes out of one tiny pot! I will say though that the last time I grew beans in a container, I think I ended up with enough for dinner one night, and no more! But right now I'm harvesting more cherry tomatoes than I can keep up with.
