Michele, this is a great article.

I watch my grandsons while their parents work and always try to make them aware that the earth is only lent to us for our use.

I encourage them to use garbage cans when we are at the park, teach them to put all items that are recycleable into the blue bin and not to waste energy or water.

You are right. Each person is responsible to teach future generations how to keep the environment safe.
