» jerrib - Great ideas, Anna

I have boxes and boxes of photos which I hope to get inspired to put in albums one of these days, scrapbooking sounds like so much more fun. I find the task daunting, as there's so much to do, so I just continue to ignore them. Any hope for me?

Anna,

You make some really good points in your article, that's for sure. I've been into different things in crafting for years, but have never once scrapbooked, mostly because it seems so daunting. But you're right--just got to get in there and start.

Hi Jerri! Yes there is hope for you! Start scrapping with the current pictures first, then go back in time or if you have a theme go with that. For example you want to scrap your wedding pictures or do an album for your mom and dad use those as themes for you memory book and you can work on those.

Also I'm going to be getting into articles about digital scrapping. I've found it less daunting and it doesn't require a lot of supplies. I'll also review some very easy to use software for scrapping albums. It is easier to organize pictures on the computer than it is on the floor or a table!

Thanks for the idea of starting with the most current. Sometimes just deciding a starting point can make the task seem smaller.

I'll look forward to reading about the graphics software.
