Hi Anne, what an interesting interview. Seems, she just has something about her that birds like. Very enjoyable and informative. Hope you're doing well, my friend. I know you must be pretty busy still. Take care. Talk to you soon.

Hi Renie,
Thanks for dropping by! Yes, Mattie Sue has a wonderful way with birds, and she was so very kind to take time for the interview. I tried to keep it brief because her schedule is so hectic. And the books I reviewed are great resources for any bird person. I know I enjoyed them!

I am finishing the last chapter of the book and will be sending it in next week. smile Whew! hehe

Sorry I've been so absent lately, not posting many messages, etc. Allen almost died a few weeks ago from blood clots and I've been so distracted I couldn't think! I stayed by his side in the hospital the whole time. He's much better now, thank God, and the doctor said he could go back to work. So, he's up in New York with the band to play music at a resort in the Catskills! Won't be home till Sunday night. I'm just praying that his health will hold up. Gotta trust that the doctor knows what he's talking about, I guess.

Hope all is well with you! I've been following the posts and 'stuff' here, just not joining in. Hopefully that will improve soon. Thanks again for the visit, friend.

hugs!
Anne

Oh, Anne, what a scary time for you all! I had no idea. Thank the Lord he is now out of danger, and yes, I guess we have no choice but to trust the doctor, and pray some more that he is right. But I can tell you're worried, and will keep you and Allen in my prayers, my friend.

Does he play your songs, too?

Great news on the book being almost done. That's what I thought you've been doing all this time, writing away. Never imagined you were in a hospital room, by your husbands side. Life can change in the blink of an eye, can't it? But, again, thank God Allen is okay.

Take care, and let me know if I can help in any way.

Hi Renie,
Thanks so much for your sweet message! Check your email, I've sent you a long letter. smile

You can help by continuing to keep us in your prayers! That would be so wonderful and would mean a lot to both of us. Thank you, my dear friend. smile

Yes, Allen does play some of our songs on stage, in fact some of them are regular requests. That's a hoot, when somebody wants to hear something I've worked on. LOLOL!!! I'm no musician, but poor Allen is always so kind when I'm playing my mandolin. Hehehe....I guess he loves me. ;)

Hope the weather is holding in MO. It's going to be bumpy here, I'm afraid. Take care! smile

love,
Anne

Anne, I'm glad I stopped by. I am sorry to hear that Allen had a blood clot. They can be very dangerous. I will keep him in my prayers my friend.

This article is great. I have always wanted to have a parrot. They are so beautiful. But since Dwight is still off work, that will have to wait for the future.

Take care and thanks for stopping by my topic. I am sending you something by e-mail.

Oops! Can't do that there is no e-mail showing on your topic. Please go to my topic and drop me a line so I can send you something by e-mail. You will love it.

Hi Mary!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and for your sweet words of encouragement. This has been a very scary thing for us and your prayers are so much appreciated! I'm remembering you and Dwight in my prayers, and I sure hope that things improve for you. I know that the stress level is so hard to deal with, on top of everything else.

If you ever do decide to get a parrot, let me know. I'll be glad to help in any way I can. Heading over to your topic now to drop you an email. I can't wait to see what you have for me! smile

love,
Anne

is a great one, Anne. I prefer the birds that live outdoors, but I did really enjoy this article.

Thank you for the kind words and the visit, Jerri. I'm glad you enjoyed the article. Outside birds are great, aren't they? They don't poop on the carpet or furniture, and they don't shed feathers and bird dust all over the house. Hehehe :D

Take care!
