» Dantessa - Sounds neat! Sounds neat!!I have only recently begun using Yahoo! clubs (I am very behind the times, eh???), because I found a group about yoga and just couldn't resist chiming in ;) Also our own Brian Hughes has a freeware club that I joined at his invitation. I only use ICQ to check my e-mail every 5 minutes, isn't that pathetic? I never chat online. I just get too busy! But I did discover a "new" online pager, sorta like SuiteTalk, that I really like. I am encouraging the members of my Pagan community to sign up for the service so that they can chat to one another whilst surfing the web. It's called "Who Is Online" and it's at http://www.wio.at It's mostly java, all done in your browser and no software required. It's not heavily populated which I frankly really like...when I was using ICQ I finally had to block all messages save those from people on my contact list. I was getting messages in both languages that I speak, minute after minute, day after day--and it was driving me bonkers! I work online, 90% of what I do online is work. Whether it's writing for Suite, doing my ME stuff, or writing for other sites...or developing Cardea & doing publicity & PR for its parent company...or working on web sites for my clients, posting auctions online, doing market research, or doing readings for people in chat & e-mail, it's work. Some of it is fun work, mind you! So I tend not to get into the IM/ICQ/Yahoo Messenger/MSN etc. messaging services because I just don't have enough time or inclination. I do have a ParaChat.com chat room on a private page at my reading site, so I can connect privately with my clients to do online readings. And New Avalon has its own chat room for members, which I don't frequent too much. That's the extent of it. Anyway, I am certainly always open to new ways to communicate that can faciliate my work. We're trying to get the various Cardea admin hooked up with voice chat of one variety or another, so that we can have meetings. There is tremendous potential for a lot of these free online communication tools in networking and business. I appreciate all the reviews! -- posted by Dantessa
