Excellent article. Just reading it made me nervous!

I actually got Zone Alarm some time ago, and I am surprised at how often it comes up with warning messages about attempts to access my computer.

ZoneAlarm is fab smile I'll never cease to be amazed by the number of intrusive scans that one encounters when one dares to surf the WWW or use virtually any other Internet protocol. Most are fairly harmless, as harmless as a scan can possibly be, with nosy companies just trying to get a peek. But I rest better knowing that my privacy is better protected, period--and that trojans and other such hacking are blocked out, as well!

In response to message posted by Dantessa:

Zone Alarm is a real eye opener, especially when you first set it up and get all these messages. What is also nice, they give you a link to "WHOIS" and it can give you somewhat of an idea of the IP who is trying to get to you.
