» Fort_Spunky - Wonder of Seeds Hi Bonnie,You gave some wonderful examples of the wonders of nature. Enjoyed this article very much. As always, it is very well written. Love the photographs, too, especially the pinecone. It looks like it should be on a Christmas card. Linda -- posted by Fort_Spunky » WildCityWoman57 - I really like Thoreau I started reading Walden this week as our book club is doing the book. The seeds - he does speak about seeds in Walden and I'm going to look forward to reading more from this man. Right now I'm working on the front yard of an apartment building where my husband is super/manager (we live there, of course). It's pines, maples, sumacs, etc., and it's a more or less wild place. This summer I have worked at it, but kept its wild look. Right now, I'm raking, of course and expect after Isobel gets through with Southern Ontario on Friday, I'll be raking more. Yesterday and today, I really appreciated my work with nature - I was reading Walden during my breaks and thinking of Thoreau and how he would do things. Thanks for putting this article up.
