Thanks so much. I wondered if it was too sick an article, but war is pretty sick. I appreciate the input!

Bravo! Fantastic! I appreciate 'edgy' humor and didn't find this even mildly offensive. I think it says a lot about the US vs Soviet-style totalitarian states that we don't mummify our dead leaders--but what a fun and entertaining way to point that out.

And "think of the tractors..." Too good. Consider your article linked to, young man.

Well, I think we all know President Regan was mummified even before he left office, so perhaps there is hope for a glorious new way of preserving the men who have the red button all ready to use. Thanks for the comments and link, too.

Cute article, but what is so weird about the Soviet Union reaching the moon first? The Soviets lead the race all the way to the end. That is one of the main reasons for all those theories about the Apollo landings being faked.

Thanks for your input. I do hope you don't subscribe to the faked moon landings theory. And that fact was that although the Soviets did lead at the beginning of the race, they were really left in the dust in many respects. Don't get me wrong, as I am a huge fan of the Soviet space program. And all that aside, I still think they would have built some great zero-g tractors, given the opportunity. The moon would also have made a stunning gulag. That would have shut up those pesky state enemies, wouldn't it have?
