Since my own son was stillborn, it's obvious why this is my fav quote. I enjoyed your article and look forward to reading more of them. My summer edition of the Atlantic Monthly arrived yesterday, and it includes a previously unpublished Twain story, "A Murder, A Mystery, and a Marriage." I haven't read it yet, but I'm sure it will be of interest to Twain fans.
