» Renie_Burghardt - Great Reviews

Hi Kendahl, well, I never saw Sudden Fear, but you make the movie sound interesting, to say the least! smile

I did see Written On The Wind, and Dorothy Malone was great in it. I always thought she was a good actress. But as for looking like Charleton Heston at some point, that remark really cracked me up. And I saw both Magnificent Obsession (I was a Rock Hudson fan smile)
and Imitationion of Life, way back when they were released.

I enjoyed your reviews as always. Thank you for the kind message you left for me. I'll be back to visit my favorite topics and friends, so you know I'll drop in on Classic Actresses! Hope all is well with you, Kendahl, and that all that studying leaves you some time for fun, too. Take care!

AH, so that's what you've really seen, those colorful Douglas Sirk movies. I would have loved to have seen those on the big screen. I like Dorothy Malone too. I know a lot of people think she isn't a very good actress, but I have to say, they're wrong smile . Thanks for coming by and I hope I do still hear from you, especially whenever you have something new published. After all, that's how I'm going to be able to see your new writing now. Hey, by the way, have you seen a movie called "An American Rhapsody"? It's pretty good; based on a true story about a Hungarian family who flees to the US. It made me think of you. Anyway, don't worry, I work too hard, but I'm sure I'll be able to find a little time for fun. Until later,
