» kcruver - Re: Grand Ladies In response to message posted by Renie_Burghardt:Thanks for coming by. Yeah, I loved "Lady for a Day". After I'd seen it, I just couldn't believe it wasn't a big classic. It is a sweet, touching movie with some great acting. I hope you do get a chance to see it. I actually didn't fully appreciate Josephine Hull in "Harvey" until I'd seen it a couple of times. Once I did start noticing the little details of her performance, I couldn't stop laughing! I'm glad you liked the article; I like to write about things that don't get a lot of attention. It's sort of like digging for treasure. I love my new place; thanks for asking. It's much quieter and smaller. I used to be on a very busy street and there was traffic until the wee hours--ack. I also had too much space to clean, it was such a pain. When this place came free, I grabbed it. Unfortunately, my internet is still messed up. I haven't been connected at home for over a month! I've been using other people's computers and that is why my access hasn't been good. All I have to do is call the internet company; I started with a new service and I just had trouble with the installation. So it'll be fine. Hope you're having a lovely end of summer; it's such an interesting time of year. Later! -- posted by kcruver
