Hi Kendahl,What an excellent article about Mae West. She was quite a fascinating character. Interesting about her donating the fee from the magazine article to the prison library. Well, the entire article is filled with interesting facts. I enjoyed it, and look forward to part 2. Take care!

I'm glad you liked the article. Mae West was sure a fun lady to research. In her autobiography, she also claimed that she tried to help a lot of the ladies she met in the prison too. I'm not sure just what she did though--maybe give them money? Find them jobs? Anyway, thanks for commenting.-- posted by kcruver
