I love your opening sentence, "when you lose your temper, you’ve only given up something you can’t get back." That's a "keeper" for the front of the refrigerator if I ever heard one! Thanks much for another great article.

today's actresses just can't do emotion as well as Bette Davis and some of the others. I enjoyed reading this.

Thank you--and I agree with you. In fact, that's why I came up with the idea for the article. There are some decent actresses out there today, but I don't see any who take the risks that Bette Davis and co. did. They were willing to go for broke in the most inspiring way.
