» Skull13 - CFIDS Support Groups

Michelle...

Your guest made many valid points...there are few Fibro groups in existence and few that are of any value in terms of size. People with more serious cases of Fibro don't feel comfortable enough to sit in meetings and don't feel that they related well to the other members.

I went to a CFIDS group about a year ago and felt much more at home. The talk was much lighter and positive. Everyone was more involved in the conversation and when their speaker was introduced, she kept it going as a conversation...she was a Physical Therapist with CFIDS.

Maybe it is just my area, but the Fibro-group (which is also almost an hour away) is just no a comfortable fit. I'd go to the CFIDS group but they meet in a Hospital (YUCK!) and at a time I can't get a ride.
