Need paint color advice: Paint color advice

I've painted my bedroom a very pale lilac color (Behr's French Heirloom;-)) and am now ready to paint the wood window trim and baseboards with some paint leftover that my mother has. It is antique white (or what I'd call, cream) and I think it will go well against the lilac walls... only the ceiling and radiator are white.

Does this sound like too many shades in one room?
Maybe I should choose stick to two colors only?

I have a chocolate brown tufted headboard if that helps, and planned on incorporating other colors like maybe soft green tones. I'm a little lost though. Any help offered is welcome!
