You can see the lil' critter in the right hand side tree. Hope things are well, Jo -- posted by Jo Murphy » Barbara Nicholson Bell - Re: Nearly there In response to message posted by brisbaneartist:Jo, it is just marvelous! The entire mural is looking wonderful - I love the hang-glider floating down to the water - is that new, too? -- posted by Barbara Nicholson Bell

That is a kite surfer that is a fairly new sport. The boss wanted him in because water sports are important in our coastal area. -- posted by Jo Murphy

kite surfer Kite surfing is a is a fairly new sport. The boss wanted him in the picture because water sports are important in our coastal area. The pic of him has been in the mural for a while. He will have a grout of black contrasted aginst the blue of the sea and sky and then he will stand out. Fun hey? I have had a snag which will hold me up another fortnight. (These things happen - at least I am past the herding cats stage.) Talk soon, -- posted by Jo Murphy » Barbara Nicholson Bell - Re: Bad Spelling - (LOL) - Kite Surfer In response to message posted by brisbaneartist:I guess what you call "kite surfing" we call "hang gliding" or "paragliding". The sport is very popular along our coastlines on the beaches, too. It's also popular in mountain resorts where the air thermals provide good lift. Too scary for me, though! LOL! -- posted by Barbara Nicholson Bell

Yes you are quite right I did a search and that is what came up. (Paragliding) Hmmm it is very nice to watch. -- posted by Jo Murphy » Barbara Nicholson Bell - Re: -Kite Surfer In response to message posted by brisbaneartist:The kind of paragliding that's done over water, uses boats to get the rider into the air. In the mountains, hang gliders aren't attached by guide ropes to anything. They take a running leap off the edge of an elevation, and the air thermals allow them to "fly" or glide to a safe landing some distance away. I'd be too scared to try either one! -- posted by Barbara Nicholson Bell » diva23 - paint suggestions/ideas I like a very clean line designed furniture with painted walls to match. My kitchen, family room is in one long space. The family room is the obvious room you see when entering in house. This wall has 3 openings on top with fireplace in middle down below. I like coffee tones colors for this room. My kitchen has dk. golden cabinets, oak? I like a creamy butter gold on walls and use black or some dark color to the moldings and the center of room ceiling that overhangs the stove area. Any suggestions on how that may look as well as great coffee tone paints that are available. Love this site is available.
