» phoehne - My eclectic style Barbara,I enjoyed reading about the English cottage style. I really like the coziness, the colors and the bookcase styling of it. I don't care for the dark furniture and use of lots of patterned furniture and curtains. I think my style must be eclectic, since I seem to pull bits and peices from many different styles. I think it works in the long run, because what I choose usually has something in common with other things I have liked. -- posted by phoehne » Barbara Nicholson Bell - Re: My eclectic style In response to message posted by phoehne:The key to every successful room is that it reflect the personality of the people who live there! Lots of people prefer a less cluttered version of this particular style. And it has lots of variations too - French country, Shabby chic, beach cottage, etc. If the room "welcomes" you when you walk in, Peggy, then you've succeeded! -- posted by Barbara Nicholson Bell
