With such a wayward, anything-but-normal childhood with no ability to stick with any one thing for long, it's amazing Wagner finally became a master at his music.I think his childhood could have been a detriment, but he seemed to go on anyway and finally succeeded at something. I do wonder if he ever knew he was a success?
