Hi all.I have been wanting to be sterilised since I was 19. I was pretty sure no doctor would agree to the procedure at that age so I have waited 5 years before I give it a try.
My appointment with the GP is coming up. What is the best way to request a referral for the relevant specialist. I am young and childless so I imagine she will be very hesitant with my request.
I have read up a lot on the procedure, I am aware of possible complications, could fill books explaining my desicion to want to be sterilised.
How else should I be prepared?
