I appreciated your candor and your willingness to speak out about the double standard inherent in this case. What this woman did was deplorable and will never be acceptable. Because of how the media portrayed it, people may get the impression that rape is acceptable if the perpetrator tries to marry the victim. ICK!!! As a fellow survivor, I'm appalled at the ignorance of the press!Thanks again for a great article!
