Well done, Kelly! This is a fascinating topic to me, since I'm half Scottish and half Irish (American born). I have cousin who is learning Gaelic, and I wish that I had the time!I was wondering if you knew anything about the patois found in the Channel Islands. I have some family there, and I've always been interested in the Jersey language that isn't French, isn't English, and doesn't seem to fit anywhere else!
