I had this same problem for the last year with our,now, 14 year old female cat. The vet put her on Ovaban, which helped a little. The loss was on the legs and then the stomach. This entire situation has reversed itself completely and the cat looks great since I added a food called Natural Balance to our two cats` diets. This particular cat does not care for canned food and ate only Flint River Ranch, which agreed with her for a long time. But perhaps there is something in this new food she was not getting that she needed! I bought it because the dogs liked the Natural Balance dogfood.I still keep Flint River Ranch for the cats, too. This is our third bag of Natural Balance so it takes a while to really see total reversal. I hope this helps someone else`s cat!!
