Kathy's ConversionRead the article this discussion is about

» Dan_Ellsworth - Thanks for the "travelogue" I don't mean to be flippant with that "Subject"; I very much appreciated learning about your journey of faith and where it led. One thing it led to was a chance to narrow down my Suite101 topic from "Christianity" to Protestant Christianity. (I remarked at the time that it was like being a reporter whose "beat" was the whole U. S., then allowed to narrow it down to "west of the Mississippi".) I like my denomination, but would not want to lose the loving Christian connections I have with Catholic, Assembly of God, and several other groups.-- posted by Dan_Ellsworth » StCatherine - Re: Very good and very interesting. I'd elaborate, but I'm on my way to mass. I don't get on the net much these days and my time is limited. My modem at home is out. Thanks to both of you for stopping by. -- posted by StCatherine » marciaeasterling - Kathy- Kathy-I have been reading your articles on the internet and cannot believe how much we have in common. I also was raised a Southern Baptist, and am now a Catholic (recent conversion, just a year ago). I initally came across you by reading an article you did on home schooling. I also am a homeschooler (told you we had LOTS in common!) and was wondering which curriculum you decided on? I also use Calvert, have for several years but am in the process of evaluating Catholic ones. I live in Richmond, Va., btw. ANYWAY, I felt the Lord led me to your writings as I have never read about anyone I had as much in common with! Feel free to email me if you can- marciaeasterling@msn.com -- posted by marciaeasterling
