» Jo Murphy - Hi Susanna

I went off and had a look at Flo and her friends.
Very nice drawing.
You have to be good to capture the nuances of everyday life like that.
Seems like fun.
We don't have that comic strip here in Australia as far as I know.
Thanks,
Jo

Thanks for checking out Flo & Friends, Jo. It's a comic with a theme that is growing in popularity with all age groups. Perhaps it will make its way to Australia, unless you already have something similar in other strips.

"Pickles" by Brian Crane is another seniors-based comic that has a huge and well-deserved following. The art and the humour are both well-developed and hilarious.

There's nothing like a good chuckle to make the day better.

I do Art Therapy in aged care centres and work with the University of The Third Age. (I don't know if they have that in America) but theat kind of comic strip is fun. There is a spot where it encourages readers to contact their local papers and ask for the strip. I might get a third age 'people's action' going and deluge the Courier with requests for the strip! Never too late to get into action. LOL
