Hi Sue,

Appreciate your stopping by to read the article and taking the time to leave a message.

Yes, those cats really are something else. I agree they are here to put us in our place.

» MsPersephone - Ram

Tom - I loved reading about Ram. What a character! Actually, the things you have written about him are the very things that make cats so endearing, in my (rather strange and warped) opinion.

Thank you for brightening my day!

Hello Mari,

Good to hear from you. Hope you are recovering from the death of Gypsy. Grief is said to be the sharpest emotion though perhpas the most brief.

Glad you liked the article. He's one of our "babies," like our dog.

Thank you,
Tom

» Red - you've been blessed...

Tom,
I believe you've been blessed with a very special cat, and you picked a perfect name for him.

I would have loved to have seen him take that flying leap off the back of the dog. I can well imagine how surprised the poor dog was.

Take care, my friend. This is a great article. Thanks for sharing. Glad I didn't miss it.

Hello Red,

So glad you enjoyed this article. I enjoyed writing it about a very special cat indeed. Of course, aren't they all special?

» biogardener - How's Ram?

How is Ram doing? Is he still with you, driving your wife crazy?

You know, I am sure, that I am a cat-lover, but if you want a cat who is really a dog inside, get a Siamese one. They incorporate the best qualities of both animals, kind of like the domestic version of the cheetah. I am going to get another one if for no other reason than the stupid leash bylaw which I call the "Save the Mice" bylaw. Siamese love to be on a leash.

Did you ever meet Dusty, the cat who used to be my co-editor, writing my most popular articles for me? Well, I resurrected her recently to write some of articles for my newly adopted Kids Garden topic.

Hi Traute,

Thanks for your kind words. Did you read Part II by the way. I just remembered that I forgot to link to the new article from the old one.

Will take your advice in consideration about the Siamese. Did not realize that about them. Love dogs also, btw.

» biogardener - Thanksgiving

As you can see by my signature, Tom, I got adopted by another Siamese cat, this time a tom, a real character and the most intelligent cat I have ever known.

I just read Sylvia's Thanksgiving article in her German Interest topic, and that made me go back to my own Thanksgiving articles. In the discussion following one of them, you indicated that you would write an article about the meaning of the day. If you did, would you please link it in that discussion?

I am always happy when anyone links related articles in my discussions.
