Thanks, Sharon. I am trying to relate more to the nomenclature of "guardian angels." I tend to call them forces or intuition or aspects of higher self, but in the end they are all the same thing.

That said, I am almost sure that I saw angel in a public place one time. More on that later on.

Best wishes,

Tom

I know what you mean about having trouble adjusting back to urban life after time in nature. It is interesting that even some hospitals have nature channels which show scene after scene of peaceful mountains, waterfalls, etc. The medical community recognizes that this promotes healing.

The redwoods are spectacular, aren't they?

I so love the overgrowth trees in the NW corner of Washiington State, too. If you've never been to the Hoh Rain Forest, it's like the redwoods. Such a peaceful place - makes one feel very small in the scheme of things surrounded by nature's beautiful trees. I'm sure you might have the same kinds of feelings there.

Thanks, Thomas. Always enjoy a great, spiritual read here.

Hi Tom,

I searched through your remarkable list of articles and selected this one to receive The Christmas Gift Exchange.

I hike in the Redwoods and understand exactly the moment of stillness and the pause that refreshes.
