I am going to spend two months Island hopping/backpacking around the Caribbean this summer. Since I am on a budget, I want to use the mail boats as ferries between islands as much as possible. Does anybody know how much this costs, or how I can find a schedule?I also want to find out where I can camp for free...it it illegal to set up camp on a secluded beach?
Also - when is it legal to fish/harvest shell fish? Do I need a license?

if you happen to check this post or something, the last post is almost exaclty what i want to do, so if somebody answered your questions please tell me about the free camping part, I plan to do the same and need some information. thanks-- posted by omerochristo
