Hi Mary,What a sad and tragic story! When I read that there were over 200 predators living within 3 kilometers of Holly's home, and no one in the community was notified, I was angry!
When will the lawmakers begin protecting victims and future victims rights? It is the same in the US-Criminal's rights supercede the rights of their victims. Yes, we have Megan's Law, but like Holly's law, it does not cover those child molesters who were convicted before Megan's Law was a law. So there are evil people out there, maybe living next door, that we are not told about. I just find it baffling as to why the politicians do not get it!
I signed the petiton, even though I am a US citizen. I hope it accomplishes something before another child is a victim.
